Pause & Reflect
Paul describes his pastoral concern for the Galatians with striking words: “until Christ is formed in you.” That is one of the simplest descriptions of Christian maturity. Not merely knowing more. Attending more. Speaking Christian language more fluently. Being seen as spiritual. But becoming increasingly like Christ. What does that look like? Truth joined with grace. Courage joined with humility. Holiness joined with compassion. Conviction joined with love. Strength joined with gentleness. A growing willingness to obey the Father. Spiritual maturity is not about becoming impressive. It is about becoming Christlike. Ask yourself today: If Christ is being formed in me, where should His character become more visible next?
Declare It Today
“My goal is not spiritual appearance but Christlike maturity. I desire for the character of Jesus to become increasingly visible in my words, decisions and relationships.”
Let's Pray
Jesus, form Your character in me. Reveal the places where I know Christian language but do not yet reflect Your heart. Make me more like You in both truth and love. Amen.
