Pause & Reflect
“For everything there is a season.” We understand seasons in nature but often resist them in our own lives. We want harvest when God is cultivating roots. Movement when the season requires stillness. Answers when the season requires trust. Ecclesiastes acknowledges that life unfolds through times and seasons beyond our control. It also tells us God has made everything beautiful in its time while reminding us that human beings cannot fully comprehend all He is doing. That combination requires humility. You may correctly discern what God is leading you toward while still being wrong about when. Timing matters. A good thing forced prematurely can create unnecessary pain. Ask not only: “Lord, is this Your will?” Also ask: “Lord, is this Your time?”
Declare It Today
“God understands seasons better than I do. I will not allow impatience to become my guide. I trust Him with both direction and timing.”
Let's Pray
Father, give me discernment concerning the season I am in. Protect me from moving too early because of impatience or too late because of fear. Teach me to recognise Your timing. Amen.
