Waiting Is Not Wasted

Waiting can feel like nothing is happening. But Scripture repeatedly shows God working in waiting seasons. Isaiah says those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. Waiting on God is not necessarily inactivity. You may still work. Prepare. Learn. Serve. Apply. Pray. Develop. But you refuse to force what God has not opened. Waiting exposes our desire for control. It asks whether we trust God's wisdom when His timetable differs from ours. Perhaps you expected to be further ahead by now. Perhaps you thought the relationship, opportunity, ministry, family situation or answer would have arrived already. Don't assume delay means abandonment. Use the waiting room well. Let God deepen roots that future responsibility may require.
