Pause & Reflect
The angel's words to Mary were: “For nothing spoken by God is impossible.” The context matters. This was not a generic promise that every dream a person imagines will happen. It was assurance that what God had spoken concerning His redemptive purpose would not fail. That gives us a healthier foundation for confidence. God is able to accomplish what He purposes. His power is not limited by the circumstances that limit us. But faith in God's power must remain joined to surrender to God's will. We can ask boldly. Dream faithfully. Attempt difficult things in obedience. But we do not turn God's omnipotence into a guarantee that He must fulfil every personal desire. Our confidence is: God can do what He chooses, and His purposes cannot be defeated.
Declare It Today
“Nothing God purposes is beyond His power. I will trust His ability while remaining surrendered to His wisdom and will.”
Let's Pray
Almighty God, strengthen my confidence in Your power. Keep me from both unbelief and presumption. Help me trust that what You truly purpose, You are fully able to accomplish. Amen.
