Seeking Him With All Your Heart

Day 17

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Jeremiah 29:12–13

Read Scripture in Context →

Pause & Reflect

God's promise through Jeremiah was spoken to people living in exile. Their circumstances were far from what they wanted, yet God told them they could still seek Him and find Him. Sometimes we imagine we will pursue God properly once life becomes less demanding. After this busy season. After the children are older. After the problem is solved. After work becomes easier. But God can be sought here. Seeking Him wholeheartedly doesn't require withdrawing from every responsibility. It means God increasingly becomes the centre around which those responsibilities are ordered. It may mean opening Scripture before reaching for your phone. Turning anxiety into prayer. Asking what honours God before making a decision. Creating moments of quiet within an otherwise busy day. God is worthy of more than whatever attention remains after everything else has taken its share. Seek Him intentionally.

Declare It Today

“My heart belongs to God. I will seek Him intentionally in this season rather than waiting for perfect circumstances. He is worthy of my attention, affection and devotion.”

Let's Pray

Lord, give me an undivided heart that seeks You. Show me where distraction has displaced devotion. Help me find practical ways to pursue You within the responsibilities You have given me. May knowing You become my deepest desire. Amen.
